Your workplace is located at our adapted primary schools (Lunnaskolan 1-3, Önnerödskolan 4–9, Högadalskolan 1-6, Djupedalskolan 4–9) as well as at Metallvägen 4.

You work to ensure that all children, youth, and guardians in Härryda municipality feel satisfied and safe in school.

Your Mission

As a school social worker, you are part of the school's student health team and contribute with psychosocial competence at the organizational, group, and individual levels. In student health, you collaborate with the school nurse, special educator, school psychologist, school doctor, and principal. The team's mission is to work health-promoting and preventive together with other teams in the school to strengthen our students. Collaboration is important to us, and we support each other across professional boundaries in complex cases.

Your tasks as a school social worker include:

• participating in and driving the school's ongoing values and safety work
• support conversations, motivational talks
• collaborating with and supporting guardians
• information, consultation, and supervision in the psychosocial area
• interventions at the individual, group, and organizational levels
• collaboration with external actors such as social services, habilitation, and child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP).

As a development manager for the psychosocial interventions of student health, you will play an important role in driving the work to develop student health's psychosocial interventions.

Your tasks as a development manager for psychosocial interventions include:

• being responsible for leading the professional group of school social workers in Härryda municipality
• collaborating with other development managers in child and student health
• ensuring that methodological support and routines for the social worker's tasks exist
• monitoring further education/training for social workers within the school sector.

Requirements for the Position

• We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. We prefer that you are a licensed health and medical care social worker.
• Experience working as a school social worker is preferred.
• It is an advantage if you have previously worked in an adapted primary school and have experience working with the target group of children with intellectual disabilities.
• It is also valuable for us if you have experience using visual support and signs as alternative and complementary communication.
• Good ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish is a prerequisite for the position.
• Interest in quality and organizational development is a clear advantage, as well as the ability to think holistically.
